Looking at the last shot of sunset and puffy cotton balls of clouds, I began to think what new way could i respond playing by rules of the game. External influence typically guides us no matter our endeavors and I guess I had a little contrariness within me today. The infinity of the sky, the wide open space so I decided to stay with the orange, but go in the opposite direction. I decided to go macro and this is the “navel” of a navel orange, the bottom.  The shape being the reason it is a navel orange. The exploration of the orange macro, was fascinating as I started with the skin and then moved through the orange and disassembling it shooting pieces.  The “navel” jumped out further than the others shots, some being stunning too.
