Today I was inspired to work on a portrait that shows what I feel, to the viewer.  Well that is the trick isn’t it…to convey emotion in a 2 dimensional abstract from the original life form.  Because I know the thirty years of this mans life, does not mean that this image will tell you the joys or the heart aches he has experience.  I can say here, that he is following his heart on his own path. He is kind hearted to those he meets, and has a strong work ethic. I look forward to seeing where his path leads him.

This was not a typical posed effort on my part, I saw the moment and raised my camera, 1/80” f2.8 iso6400 late in the day. Post processing helped match the look from his eyes to convey the emotion of dark, mellow, and a slight grunge feel to the rest of the image.
