Today I headed out looking for walls and found lots,  but some looked like my older photos of similar walls. Sometimes I take one shot of a wall so as to affirm a recognition of an old friend and other times I just walk by.  This architectural abstract has been done by every one, but I couldn’t remember the last time I took one like it.  Perhaps this image reached out to me today because of the fascinating light reflected from one unseen surface of a building to another, and then on to my camera sensor. Making it a black and white is my way of taking a view that I had no way of physically touching or effecting, and then by manipulating the image’s tones to my interpretation I make it mine.
