On the way into a big box store to procure what one “needs”, grab a cart in which to place all those important things. One must have a shirt with a certain label or pants of a particular cut of cloth in order to be that man that marches to a different drummer and not merely a cog in the machine. I’m not immune to this line of thinking. I live in lockstep with my fellow shoppers as the wheels of commerce keep turning. This was shot with the Apple iPhone 5S, which was the first iPhone that had a camera worthy of producing good picture quality in my opinion. It changed my daily shooting approach somewhat, or maybe returned it to an earlier phase of my development as a photographer, because it made the random quick picture fun and easy again. Two or three iPhones later, I now use the iPhone 7 Plus. Each upgrade has been for the improvements in the camera and picture quality rather than for the phone’s design improvments. I also almost always carry the Sony RX100 IV pocket camera as well. Some pictures seem more appropriate made with one or the other, and I don’t know what determines that in my mind.
