My mind was stuck with one thought today, to create something new. But I was limited in my thinking on how and of what. It was as if I was a machine with one goal, but no creative way around the problem of creating something unique. Can anything be created fresh that is not influenced by other artists’ previous efforts even possible? Well I did not stretch my mechanical robotic linear thinking very far today, tomorrow is another day.

Well done on the creep factor David. Icky and provocative at the same time. I also like how the recent series shows a diversity of interpretation.

The problem I had was breaking away from the last two images of mechanical faces, perhaps just shooting a Stetson hat or shadows on a wall would of been a bigger visual leap. This for me is like a beautiful sunset being photographed, the doll robot was created years ago by someone else. I did crop in, darkened the image and face with PS sudo mud, and changed the fake doll eye to a real eyeball all in the effort to make it mine. My notes told of my frustration without telling everything, and now I have. Its not totally my creation but I added a little of my weirdness to it. Just thinking out loud!
