The other night on Christmas Eve, I was sitting in my chair by the fire. It had been a very long day of entertaining with many friends and family members.  Everyone had already gone to bed and it was quiet, so I thought it was a good time to catch up on some reading.  Not sure how long I had been asleep when I was awakened by a noise only a few feet away. My chair faces the front door, and my camera was on the table next to me. Luckily I had set the ISO high for some inside group portraits earlier that night. Startled, I grabbed for my camera and actually got off two frames, one of the out of focus wood floor as I raised the camera to my eye and the other to be someone leaving out the front door as I relized later when I viewed the LCD monitor on the back of the camera. This was the only capture that was usable. I was perplexed, why was this person going out the door?  Was it because I had a fire going in the fireplace?  Who was this man with the red suit and white gloves sneaking out my front door.  Seems I have a great story to tell my young grandchildren, and a photo to prove it.  I have a feeling they know who it was.
