Today I went out to a bridge in old town Scottsdale to see what architectural interest I could find. We only have running water when it rains, except for our canal system originally built by the Hohokam Indians.  I find that my first photographic encounters  are up close and intimate, not the grand overall view with sunset.  Perhaps cause its man made dirt canal with no landscaping or maybe thats just how I approach new subjects.  I also think that the time of day with the sun still high also dictates what and how I approach a subject.
