Meet Mrs. Potato Head. A true “Fashionista”. Popular with young children, but in my day we used real spuds.  The punchy saturated colors of the plastic toy vs. the muted colors of Mona Lisa, big red lips vs. the sly smile, blonde vs. brunete…The moment I viewed Jay’s image of pumpkin Mona I thought of Mr. Potato Head. But I decided to keep the gender the same and go instead with Mrs. Potato Head along with Her pink purse.
