Paper Clips in a seemingly jumbled pile. Blue said that he arranged the previous image here on The DPG, and I believe him, but ‘arranging’ to a Virgo manifests (on the cusp of Libra I am, but feet firmly planted in Virgonian tendencies) in many ways, but organization is at the root of all. “What else holds things in place as paper clips do?” I asked myself. My mind was awash on possibilities, and I can’t tell you why I landed on clothes pins any more than I can trace my cognitive steps which led me to StoneHenge. The way we play this Game has many facets: we replicate/reflect and other times we play opposites. I liked the colorful quality of Blue’s image of paper clips and I also liked the stark tones of Eliot’s previous image of shadows. I chose to mix my bent for order with a dash of contrarianism shifting to black and white and a structural composition. Why “Stoned Henge” you ask? “Clothespin Henge” just wasn’t working for me..and besides, I hear the voice of Bob Marley calling. Don’t forget to exhale.

Bob, At first glance (in Artist Notes) at your image “Stoned Henge” I thought it was little carved toys with big eyes…holding people above their heads, carring them away…on further inspection I relized they were clothes pins. The back light and subtle reflections are magical, fun and the image just sucked me in. Great play Bob..!
