Another of my wanderabouts, this time in the countryside of Vermont. No plans really, just looking for some local sugar shacks making maple syrup. And then I struck gold! No one would believe me if I didn’t have my camera with me. The good one, you know it, not my phone one. Here was an “Art” Museum but it was falling apart. The sign was split in two and the “Art M” part had fallen to the ground, leaving the “useum” on the decaying wall. It was barely hanging in there. Was this a joke or an art piece? Either way worked for me. Composing was tight as rotting wood dotted the environs of the museum. There were a lot of three’s present so I tried to get as many in as I had room for. No treasure left untouched, the museum was gutted, empty, and in a state of disrepair. An ironic ending to a once noble effort to enlighten the locals and the lost tourists, I bet. It truly was a place where art came to die.
