I was going to the Van Nuys Train Station to pick up my brother and sister-in-laws. I arrived early. With my trusty iPhone in my hand I walked around the small, but clean, transportation hub. When I have a cellphone and I am taking pictures with it, no one really questions what I am doing. I just look like any other tourist.   The manager of the station looked nervous as he lit a cigarette and paced about before he went over to the guy lost in his grey sky thoughts… that probably mirrored his state of mind. The guy was sitting on the edge of the tracks. I wondered if they felt the wind pick up as a few drops dripped from above. I quickly took three shots. I cropped the construction junkyard going along the left edge of the frame. The bright sun behind the clouds washed out parts of the sky. To bring it back to the way I saw it I darkened the clouds a bit and threw in some grain to grime it up a tad.
