      Coming across perfectly camouflaged nests is a personal treat. I have some that you wonder what was the mama bird thinking? She places her nest overhanging a busy sidewalk less than 20 feet from a bus stop. People push the small nest and tiny branches away from themselves so they do not get scratched in the face. Then the hen gets upset when she has her babies clamoring for food and people interrupt. A hummingbird really gets mad when she starts buzzing you and flies a couple of inches from your face. These small creatures are fierce protectors. And once again I digress. I feel I am more observant with a camera in my hand. When the world feels sharper, perhaps more saturated, and pushes me into the “zone” of extra clarity, and I am able to sense more than normal, then this is what brings me to capture life as I see it. No, life as I feel it.
