Abrupt jointing change in life

I’ve been looking for images that are showing more dimension than I usually shoot. This image is odd however, there is a dark subject in the foreground creating distance but it’s also a compressed view do to the extreme depth of field and the lighter areas want to come forward within the image.  I can view this as if the ground has split open around the graves or that I climbed a tree with a long lens to pull the headstones larger and closer to the tree limbs. The earth purposefully opening up is scarier and to my liking here.  So if I like the earthquake look, I probably should blur the black foreground, or maybe just leave it alone and enjoy the play of the illusion.
