I’m a fan of unusual perspectives…period. This day I found myself in a parking lot which was adjacent to a highway but a few feet lower. I was enamored with the graphic quality of the silhouetted rocks and desert flora. As I was waiting for a call to go through, I noticed that the embankment on the side of the highway, ‘cut off’ my view of the passing cars and trucks in an interesting way. It made the drivers a mysterious silhouette, almost unrecognizable in fact. It was a game of hide and seek made even more challenging because I could not see the vehicles until the last moment. It took perseverance I assure you. ‘Where’s Waldo’ was a game I played with my kids on road trips….(keeping them occupied being a major objective) and this situation with its ‘hide and seek’ quality reminds me of those times.
