In Oklahoma now working on a personal project. As we were driving back to the hotel, through a very rural part of the state, my host stopped by an area fenced off, that is known to be the site of unmarked graves. Rumor has it there could be children buried there. On this very stormy afternoon, she pulled the car over for me to get a better look. I immediately jumped out, walked through wet grass and massive amounts of large grasshoppers, jumping and sticking to my clothes to take pictures of the stuffed toys and small dolls hanging from the fence. How long had they been hanging and who hung them? The fur on this little cow possibly gives an idea of how long….but still…who?
