As hard as you might try to find a picture worthy of taking, sometimes you just see strange things and that alone is enough.

Like a car crash where you just have to look as you pass by. Having a camera can create the same feeling. You just have to shoot even if it is strange and not what you might be looking for.

Much like this picture. I have no idea why these shoes are here. How they ever got placed here or if there is some reasoning to only three shoes and not four. There was not even a fourth in sight.

It was just so wonderfully random. The simple weirdness of the broken windows and the hanging shoes was enough. Sometimes that is enough. Not always beautiful or breathtaking, but just strange enough in its presentation that it was worthy of a picture.

There is a story here and how I came to find these dangling shoes, but it has little to do with the photograph. While the back story can be compelling at times, occasionally you just need to let the strange wash over you. Realizing that no matter what sort of weird things you see throughout life, if you have a camera in hand it can add reason or meaning to the crazy things around us every day.
