reflections on the water

This scene is a great example of one of my favorite experiences in photography; you are trying to shoot from a certain vantage point, and when it’s clearly not working, then you do a 180 pivot, and suddenly, a perfect shot is there. This was a misty twilight in San Francisco. I was with my twin brother shooting the end of Pier 1. When I turned around, this scene revealed itself. I was attracted to the reflections and the vibrant colors of the flags and lights on the buildings. As I’m reaching the end of my photogaming days, I too am full of reflections on all that we have experienced together and the growth that this game has nurtured in me.
