Today, February 28, 2014 was the biggest weather day we’ve had for months here in Southern California, stretching back well into last year.  We are in a drought if you haven’t heard. We had it all today, rain, wind, high tides, a building swell, flooding and more to come tonight and tomorrow.  Big news. Playing off Bob’s serene California Aqueduct, peaceful, beautiful afternoon light, so calm which is what most people think of weather wise in Southern California, except maybe the clouds. So today, I wanted to contrast that prevailing thought with the weather of today.  It was cold (for us) windy, consistent 25 knots, gusting (Small Craft Warnings posted) and raining.  A blustery day, and the Para-Surfers took advantage of it all.
