  What attracted me to this old saddle was you could not tell the weathered wood from the weathered leather. Like an old couple, they blend together over the years and their two personalities become one. The desert years and too many Happy Trails certainly didn’t help their state of affairs. On second thought, it just may have been the glue holding them together…… and all those sunsets.
